Aturan Penulisan Daftar Pustaka

Diantara cara penulisan kutipan dan daftar pustaka yang banyak dipakai  dan diterima secara luas adalah aturan menurut APA (The American Psychological Association). Berikut aturan pengutipan menurut APA,

1. Jurnal, Majalah dan Koran dalam Bentuk Cetak 

Bentuk Umum :

Penulis, A. A., Penulis, B.B., & Penulis, C. C. (Tahun). Judul Artikel. Judul Jurnal, xx, xxx-xxx.

Judul jurnal dan nomor volume ditulis miring. Nomor tema/issue tidak perlu ditulis jika jurnal menggunakan   halaman bersambung. Bila diberi halaman per tema maka nomor tema/issue perlu ditulis di dalam kurung dekat nomor volume.

Satu Penulis :

Williams, J. H. (2008). Employee engagement: Improving participation in safety. Professional Safety, 53(12), 40-45.

Dua sampai tujuh penulis :

Keller, T. E., Cusick, G. R., & Courtney, M. E. (2007). Approaching the transition to adulthood: Distinctive profiles of adolescents aging out of the child welfare system. Social Services Review, 81, 453-484.

Delapan atau lebih penulis :

Wolchik, S. A., West, S. G., Sandler, I. N., Tein, J.-Y., Coatsworth, D., Lengua, L.,...Griffin, W. A. (2000). An experimental evaluation of theory-based mother and mother-child programs for children of divorce. Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 68, 843-856.

Artikel majalah :

Artikel koran tanpa penulis dengan halaman tidak bersambung :

Generic Prozac debuts. (2001, August 3). The Washington Post, pp. E1, E4.

2. Buku, Bab dalam Buku, Laporan, dsb.

Penulis, A. A. (Tahun). Judul. Lokasi: Penerbit.

Satu penulis :

Penulis korporasi dengan suatu edisi dan diterbitkan oleh penulis korporasi :

Artikel yang diambil dari database daring:

Tuliskan DOI artikel (Digital Object Identifier) yaitu kode unik dari penerbit untuk artikel tertentu.

Web site dalam  kutipan kurung : untuk mengutip keseluruhan web site bukan dokumen tertentu maka cukup menuliskan URL dalam teks. Tidak perlu ditulis dalam daftar pustaka. Contoh :

Kidpsych is an excellent website for young children (http://www.kidpsych.org).
